After a week of recovering from such a lovely day and catching up with orders from the Artisan Baby Co. Fair at Delapre Abbey in Northampton last weekend, I am pleased to announce that I will be back on 8th December at the next fair which will be even bigger and better!
Firstly, a huge shout out has to go to Claire and Gemma, the organisers of the show. They worked so hard and did a wonderful job, which really shone through on the day. They were also very accommodating which is always nice to feel welcome at a new event.
There was such an eclectic atmosphere at this show. So many stands were offering special offers on the day, and I could see that all of the families that came through the doors were made to feel special.
The main areas of the show took place in three of the beautiful rooms inside Delapre Abbey. I had never been to the venue before, and was definitely ‘wowed’ – the grounds are stunning too.
There was a nice selection of hand picked exhibitors, from services to bespoke pieces to purchase, all of which were like a treasure trove, discovering lots of lovely unique finds. Live talks, taster sessions and demonstrations also went down well.

I really enjoyed taking impressions of so many babies prints. The tiles are currently drying nicely before being fired, and will make such lovely little keepsakes. If you didn’t make it to the fair this time, I will be offering the same service at the December fair, so be sure to come along! It only takes a couple of minutes. It was so sweet watching the reaction of each of the babies – they were so inquisitive by the soft, cold feeling on their hands & feet.
