Northamptonshire Ceramic Designer/Maker Showcases Blooming Marvellous New Product Collections

BCTF

I will be travelling to Harrogate for the first time to exhibit my exciting new ceramic collections at the British Craft Trade Fair (BCTF) 8-10th April 2018.

Stand Number N56A. The collections will focus on floral blooms in perfect timing for spring.

‘Red Berries’, ‘Dandelions’, ‘Botanical Blooms’ and ‘Sea Line’ are the four new designs featured throughout collections of my one-off ceramics. The designs are inspired by my passion for the natural world, featuring my own hand drawn designs, textured engobes and impressing real plants & flowers into the clay when soft.

I wanted to bring different elements of colour, as well as a sense of fun in the designs, while still keeping to the natural theme. Working with plants and flowers is becoming a strong theme throughout my work.

The stoneware products that feature these designs, and to be showcased at BCTF, are vases, vessels and bowls in a range of different sizes and forms, as well as hanging decorations, greetings cards, and tea light houses – a recent popular edition to my product range. The RRP of the products range from £12-£45.

This will be my first time exhibiting at BCTF, and I hope to use the experience to reach a wider audience for my work. Already having some good working relationships with shops and galleries, I am looking to expand my stockists. One stockist of Charlotte Hupfield Ceramics, Gill Wales of Gin Gin Tidy explains;

I liked the fact that I could offer my customers a range of products all from one supplier, Charlotte’s work is quite varied in terms of product lines. She responds quickly to emails and communication flows well which is vital for a small independent store like mine.”

If you are a shop or gallery owner interested in stocking my work, please get in touch for VIP invites to BCTF where you will be able to see my work in the flesh. Alternatively, if you are unable to attend the fair I would still be interested in hearing from you with details about your gallery or shop.
