In just under a month from now, a selection of my handmade ceramic wedding items will be used for a rustic themed wedding. How exciting!
Gary & Joanne (soon to be Mr & Mrs) contacted me after seeing some wedding samples on my Facebook page. After some important discussing, and viewing of free samples, I was set to work with the task of creating a personalised ceramic ring dish, a set of 9 ceramic table numbers, and 70 personalised ceramic heart favours for the wedding of the happy couple.
I love setting up a ‘styled scene’, so had lots of fun photographing the finished pieces in our conservatory to show how they could look at a rustic wedding. I’m hoping Joanne will be able to send me some photos of the pieces actually displayed at their wedding, but for now you’ll have to make do with mine 🙂
The personalised heart favours were my favourite thing to make. Stamping each name individually made the project personal, and I found myself imaging what Donna, Dylan, Suzanne, Theo, George etc might be like!
Each piece was decorated with a rustic brown lace pattern. I think this will look stunning with Joanne & Gary’s gold wedding colour theme.
The best thing about my personalised wedding heart favours is that they can be used as both a unique keepsake for guests to take home with them, as well as a name place setting. This is an ideal cheaper way of ticking 2 things off your wedding list at once.
If you are interested in any of my handmade ceramics for your wedding, please feel free to get in touch.
