Craft Fair, Display Stands & Workshop Snaps

It was a busy weekend just gone. Absolutely everything was taken out of the workshop on Saturday while it was cleaned, insulated and new flooring was laid. (Well, Dave did all of the insulating – thank you Dave!) Then on Sunday I was at a craft fair all day in Northampton. It was a very quiet day with very few people wandering through the doors, but I sold a few things. Plus the man on the painting stall near to me bought a vase and a pot which he said he was going to keep his paintbrushes in, and lots of people took my new leaflets so I’m not complaining. It was also nice to catch up with a few people and meet new faces.

I was pleased with my new display stands, I think they made my stall look more effective. I got them a couple of weeks ago so hadn’t used them at a fair yet. I was excited to see how they looked. This one is good for displaying some of my vases:

This was a brilliant buy, ideal for displaying items at different heights. I used it to display some of my sculptural vessel pieces.

These easel type stands are also fantastic, I used them for displaying my clocks and some plaques. They look much better presented like this, I used to lean the clocks up against other things and it didn’t look very professional.

I’m still working on getting my stand-up roller banner printed, but in the meantime I’ve been using this sign. I have a large PVC banner that I hang up in marquee’s at outdoor events, but its too big to hang on the front of my table at indoor events, and theres usually no way of hanging them on the walls at indoor venues so I’m looking forward to printing a stand up banner soon.

This is another new display stand, its a bit like a tilted toast rack. It was great for displaying my packs of magnets.

Looks like you had a great display! Your work looks great!
Passing out all those leaflets are great.. they'll come looking for you when they need gifts or when redesigning the home. I always think its great just to make that person to person connection. I think people keep that good impression and come back for support!
    Best of luck~ Chrissy 🙂
