Ceramic Bird Feeder Workshop

Design, Create & Decorate Your Own Handmade Ceramic Bird Feeder

This workshop is suitable for adults and children aged 7+ accompanied by an adult. Everyone is welcome.

This particular pottery workshop will be focusing on making a ceramic bird feeder, using the hand building technique. You will be encouraged to get creative and use your imagination, to create a piece that is unique to you, handmade and decorated in your own style with step by step demonstrations and guidance. Lots of texture material will be supplied to inspire you, but if you would like to have a forage around your garden or in the woods for any leaves, flowers and organic objects to press into the clay please feel free to bring it along.

Bird feeders come in all different shapes and sizes. I have chosen a design that is simple enough to be able to create and decorate within a morning, as well as looking attractive displayed in your garden to attract birds. Thick twine will be threaded through holes that we will make in the clay to hang the feeders from a tree.
