Here, There, and Everywhere…

This week I’ve received various images of my products out and about, so I thought I would share them with you. The image above was sent to me by a lovely customer from Tickled Pink Crafts – (check out their website for unique handmade jewellery, cards and accessories). I love the colour of this beautiful dresser, can you spot my green heart bowl at the top?

Yesterday was the launch of the Networking Mummies Business Fair in Bournemouth, where The Light Direction exhibited a selection of my Official Merchandise pieces for the branded book. How exciting! The full range of my ‘The Light Direction’ collection can be found here.

I also had some great news from Swanky Maison yesterday – various pieces of my work have been featured in their new gift guides. You will find my ‘Merry Christmas’ ceramic plaque on the last page of their Christmas Decorations Guide.

And also in the new Gift Guide by Swanky Maison, you will find my heart coasters in the ‘Heartfelt Gifts’ section on page 15, and my ceramic plant markers in the ‘Gifts For Gardeners’ section on page 18. Have a look through both guides for lots of truly unique and beautiful handmade gifts!

Trip to Dairy Farm & some more news

We visited a local dairy farm at the weekend, where they are holding a series of lambing weekends throughout March. It was a lovely day, the sun was so bright and its the first time I’d seen clear blue skies in a while. I got a bit too excited by the sun and thought I’d be ok without a coat, and soon realised I was wrong when the cold winds starting blowing! But it really felt more like spring, especially seeing the lambs.

The little guy above was my favourite, he was very curious! It was also nice to see the mummy sheep looking after their babies. A few of them started stomping their hooves on the ground when too many people crowded the pens, I think they were trying to protect their babies and scare the people away. There were lots of sheep still waiting give birth.

We could have stayed at the farm all day admiring the cute lambs and waiting for some movement from the sheep, but the cold wind sent us home into the warmth to cook a roast dinner.

We did have a wander round some of the little shops near to the farm, and it was outside the flower shop where we came across this cheeky cat sunbathing on the flower stand!

~ News ~
Aside from visiting the lambs and enjoying the sunny weekend, I was pleased to have made a sale on Swanky Maison. I’ve also added a few new items to my product range on Swanky Maison so be sure to check them out for some last minute Mothers Day gifts!

Other exciting news included my Bumpy Hill Ceramic Pot being featured in an article on The Storque on Etsy, which is their handmade blog linked from the home page and gets lots of views per day.

I was also excited to receive an order from a follower on Twitter at the weekend – which started from general chatting with a follower I didn’t know I had! The order is for a big plant pot so I’m working on that at the moment. Will be keeping you up to date with progress photos!

PLUS I am a featured sponsor on the popular Rikrak Studio Blog in March, and there is an “I Love my Sponsors Giveaway” going on over there. All you have to do is visit each of the 32 different sponsors’ shops (including mine!), and leave separate comments saying which items are your favourite. The winner will receive a $25.00 gift voucher for any of the sponsors’ online shops. Good luck!

My Profile on Swanky Maison

My profile page on Swanky Maison has been set up about 2 weeks now, and there are a handful of my products available on the site. I couldn’t resist sharing this lovely statement wrote about me and my work by the two Swanky Ladies Cath & Emma, I think it makes my products sound inviting!

We love Charlotte Hupfield’s work! Inspired by her natural surroundings, the peace and harmony she finds in the natural world simply oozes from her sculptures. All her creations are completely individual and unique making them the perfect additions to our boutique collection” Emma & Cath, Swanky Maison.

I’m also really pleased with the statement written about me and my work. You can view it on the Swanky Maison site here.

Swanky Maison

I’ve been selected to showcase and sell my ceramics at this new contemporary online market place – Swanky Maison. Alongside a whole range of home accessories, tableware, vases, other ceramics and wall art, I think my products will fit in well and I’m really excited!

Swanky Maison said they are looking for “real gems and exceptional talent.” They want to offer customers beautiful and original pieces that you might spot in a lovely little boutique somewhere. They are looking for items that are “a little bit different, totally gorgeous and create a stir at dinner parties.” … It’s a nice feeling to know that they have selected my work and it meets their standards.

I will have my own product and information page with a unique url on the site shortly so watch this space! In the meantime check out the other current items up for grabs. I love this Home Sweet Home Canvas and these Striped Draught Excluders.

Also have a look at the Swanky Maison Facebook Page and become a fan if you like what you see! There are regular updates, frequently showing new images of a taste of whats to come on the site, plus amazing giveaways.
