Whats been happening . . .

I had some very exciting news last week… There is a 3 page feature about my work in the current Oct 2014 issue of Casa Creative magazine. It’s in Italian, but who cares?! I love the layout of images that the editor has created.

My set of three seaside inspired ceramic panels are popular this month, as not only are they included in the 3 page feature of Casa Creative, but they also appear on the tile page of View Magazine.

Among all of that excitement, I was at The Hayrack Gallery in Upper Stowe during their open evening a few weeks ago. A group of ladies from the Silverstone Womens Institute came along to do some shopping, take part in a gallery quiz, eat cakes, drink wine/tea and watch me working.

It was a fantastic evening, and I hope to be back in the gallery again soon.

Me and Dizzy are getting ready for our first ever Hunter Trial this weekend. We have been practicing some of the bigger jumps, and have had lots of fun! She really is an amazing horse.

We got home from a little holiday away in Fueteventura last week. The weather and beaches were beautiful, and it was lovely to come home feeling refreshed after a week of relaxing. My highlight of the holiday was riding a camel, one of the things I’d always wanted to do! The camel was called Philippe, he felt quite different to a horse 🙂

I took some new inspiration images on the beach too… some of the patterns created by nature in the sand are just pure art. Amazing! This will no doubt influence some new work soon.
