Disappointing Craft Fair

The craft fair at Blooms Garden Centre on Tuesday was quite disappointing for me. I wasn’t very happy with my table display as I didn’t have as much height at the back like I usually do, I didn’t take my wooden display stand for the back as I knew I was only having one table rather than the usual two. But I was a bit cheeky and used some of my boxes either side of the table for extra space! There were plenty of people about all day but they just did not seem to be spending. I sold some bits but not as much as I’d hoped. Never mind, my recent online sales have made up for it and I hope they continue to do so!

It was great to see some friendly faces of other stall holders that I have met from local fairs, in particular Lisa of Cottons and Dreams, who I bought this cute beach hut keyring from.
Also thank you to Anita of Raw Elements who came to say hello!

  1. Sorry you didnt sell much, I have to say i'd be far too nervous to do a craft fair xx

  2. Sorry your fair didn't go too well, Charlotte. It is so disheartening when it happens and the day becomes very long and tiring!

Hopefully your online sales will continue to grow and all your future fairs will more than make up for it.

That's such a shame, Charlotte. I think your table looks as tempting as ever and I know from experience how disappointing low sales can be after you've invested so much time and effort. Pleased to hear that your online sales are going well -i hope they continue to do so!
