South Northamptonshire Arts annual Art Trail will be from 8th – 16th October. Here is an opportunity to watch as work is made before your eyes. What would you like to see? – oil or water colour painting, sculpture or perhaps stained glass, embroidery, wood turning, jewellery,….so much choice!
This year many new artists have joined us and we now have over 40 artists and makers exhibiting their work at studios and other venues across South Northamptonshire.
Painters will be painting and makers will be busy creating all manner of beautiful crafts in a myriad of mediums. Did you know amazing things can be made in polymer clay or that textiles can be turned into sculpture and fabrics transformed by embroidery?
I will be exhibiting a large collection of my ceramics at The Hayrack Gallery in Upper Stowe for the full 2 weeks of the art trail. You will find me in the gallery on 15th & 16th October where I will be working on some new pieces, and I plan on making A LOT of tea light houses! Visitors are welcome to watch and ask any questions.
Work on show will of course be for sale – a chance to buy direct from the artist perhaps that unique gift for the person who has everything or get some early Christmas shopping done whilst having a fascinating day out!
A free copy of the 2016 brochure is available now, from many outlets including; The Forum in Towcester, libraries, galleries, shops, and restaurants across the county.
