In a Little Corner of the Dales…
Back in June earlier this year, a gorgeous new shop Good To Be Home up in North Yorkshire opened it’s doors.
The business was born from a life-long love of design, art appreciation and love of quirky, well designed gifts. The gifts to be for sale in the shop were to be uniquely different, and defiantly not found on your average High Street.
Shop owner Suzannah is a graphic designer by trade. She has a well trained eye for display, a love of colour and home interiors.
Going from Strength to Strength
I was delighted to be contacted by Suzannah late last year when she was planning which artists/crafts peoples work she was interested in stocking when the time came to open the shop. I haven’t seen the shop in person, but from the photos I have received it looks like my idea of heaven! After the first month of the shop being open the sales were booming and another box of goodies was sent to replenish the stock of my ceramics.
“We are currently working on our website, but I would say a visit to the shop is well worth the trip as there’s nothing like seeing for yourself the range we have to offer here.”
There is also a lovely vintage tea shop next door with some wonderful cakes to enhance the whole experience.
My Handmade Ceramics for Good To Be Home
Below is a selection of pieces from a carefully selected group of my work that you will find in the shop. The collection includes handmade ceramic vases, clocks, sets of coasters, decorative ceramic curves, bowls & dishes, brooches, hanging decorations & tea light holders. Some of these pieces have actually now sold, but I can always make a similar piece if you see something you like.
What are you waiting for? 🙂
Good To Be Home is waiting for YOU!
