Ceramic Holly Leaves used for School Mosaic Project

Back in December 2014 I was asked to make some ceramic holly leaves by Justine Stroud of  ‘Primary Colours’ Murals & Mosaics, for one of her latest school projects.

The mosaic was for two schools in Cardiff which merged together in one building, one being Welsh first language. The children took part in a competition to draw a design for the mosaic which had to incorporate the existing two school logo’s, and the winning design was chosen to represent the schools.

The children had great fun creating the mosaic, and the finished design looks spectacular! Well done to all of the children at Bryn Celyn Primary School, Pentwyn, Cardiff who took part.
