Work in progress

I’ve been getting ready for a craft fair this weekend, at Castle Ashby. I took a few photos of work in progress, although they look completely different when fired. I don’t usually like people to see my work in the making stages, as I’m worried it might put them off, because it can look a bit of a mess! But then I decided that its good for others to see how different things are created.

My set of coasters (top image) have proven to be quite popular so far. I am currently working on some new shapes and designs to develop my range.

I’ve been working on a series of wall plaques and magnets, with different words and phrases written on them. I’m hoping these will be quite attractive to buyers, as I’ll have a range of pieces in different price ranges, with the magnets being the cheapest at £1 each.

I love to see what others have been busy creating… What have you made??

    Yes put photo’s of the next stage…I’ve never had the chance to do pottery…how are they going to end up looking like…see I told you I’ve no idea!!

    I’ll put some pictures up at the weekend when they are done, they are in the kiln as we speak!
